This personal data policy is issued on the basis of and in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and its by-laws, as well as the General Regulation on Data Protection – EU 2016/679 (GDPR).

We use your personal information so that we can process and respond to inquiries sent through our contact form, for analytical purposes and, where necessary, to protect our property and legitimate interests.

 

Protection against spam and malicious access

In order to protect our website from malicious access, spam  and other unwanted actions by users, we use the reCAPTCHA service from Google to verify the legitimacy of the inquiries provided. To find out exactly how, why and where this data is provided to Google, please read below in this privacy policy, under the heading “Who we share your data with”. You expressly agree to this when using these features of our website.

 

Contact forms

When you use the contact form on our website, you are asked to consent to the processing of your personal data in connection with your request. Based on your consent, we may collect, store and process the data related to your inquiry only for the purposes of answering of answering your inquiry and for the purposes of any forthcoming diagnostic, treatment or other health process that you would like to undergo with us.

 

Submitted contact forms are subject to spam checking via Google reCAPTCHA. Information about this service is described below in this policy, under the heading “Who we share your data with”.

 

Processing of analytical information

The measurement of the site traffic is performed by external companies (Google Analytics). We do not provide them with direct access to personal data, but use their built-in solutions that may analyze users’ behavior trough the use of cookies or processing of anonymized IP addresses.

 

Google Analytics

We use the Google Analytics service to collect and measure statistical information about the behavior of visitors to the website. This service is provided by a third party, namely Google LLC, 1600 Parkway Amphitheater, Mountain View, California 94043, USA (‘Google’). It can collect information such as the site from which you came to our site, the language of your browser, your behavior on the site, the browser name and more. This information should not include personal data and you cannot be personally identified through it.

We use this service to obtain information about the number, type and behavior of visitors who use our website.

Special categories of personally identifiable data under GDPR

Users of the site, at their own discretion, may decide to upload medical photos or data related to their health status, in order to help us diagnose potential problems with their oral health. These photos or data can be defined as “Special categories” under Art. 9 of the GDPR. Uploading is done by sending an attachment by the user through the contact form placed on the website. This is entirely at the user’s discretion, and uploading such photos or other data is NOT required to use the contact form or to perform any other function on the site. If the user decides to take advantage of this opportunity, the medical photographs or other data will be used solely for the purpose of diagnosis and answering the user’s request. They will not be shared with third parties or used for other purposes, including statistical, analytical or other purposes without the express written consent of the user. When submitting the contact form, the user declares his consent that such data, uploaded on his decision, may be collected, processed and stored only for the purposes described above. Users express this consent by affirmatively filling in a checkbox in the contact form.

 

We do not aim to collect and do not knowingly collect, store or process other types of data that could fall under “special categories” under Art. 9 of the GDPR, such as data related to sexual orientation, political, religious or philosophical views and others.

 

Linked or embedded content from third-party websites

The content on this site may be embedded or linked (videos, images, content, etc.) to or from other third-party websites. Embedded content from other sites accepts and treats the site visitor as a visitor to its own site.

These sites may collect information about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party statistics tools, monitor how you work with these tools, including how you use embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to the site, according to their own privacy policies.

 

Who we share your data with

Our hosting provider, currently jump.bg, has physical access to the data on the website, including user data, in connection with the hosting services provided by them to us. We do not share your data with them for any other reason.

 

In connection with contact forms, forgotten password forms, admin panels and other special pages and parts of pages, we use the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Parkway Amphitheater, Mountain View, California 94043, USA (‘Google’). The purpose of this function should be to decide whether the information and queries sent through the aforementioned forms and panels are entered by a real person or by unwanted automated input by bot programs. The Service pays information to Google in accordance with Article 6, Section 1F of the GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in protecting our site from malicious users and abuse of its functionality.

 

Google LLC, headquartered in the United States, is certified under the European Union and United States Data Protection Framework ‘Privacy Shield’, which ensures compliance with the levels of personal data protection required by the European Union.

By using this functionality, you expressly consent to the sending of this data to Google LLC for these purposes.

After we submit the above information to Google, we do not store or process other copies of the information.

How long we store your data for

The personally-identifiable data acquired through the contact forms is deleted or anonymized within 365 days after their receipt, unless the user has requested their early deletion.

 

All other data is deleted after the fulfillment of the basis for which they were collected.

 

Your rights over your data

All users of this website can enjoy their full rights under Bulgarian and European law – including the right to access data, the right to data portability, the right to correct data, the right to delete data (the right to be forgotten) and others.

 

You may also request that we delete or edit the personal information we hold about you. However, this does not include data that we are required to store for administrative purposes, for the security of the website, or by law.

We use the data obtained in connection with the administrative pages in order to protect our legitimate interests from abuse.

 

How we protect your data

Your personal data is protected by limiting the number of people with access to it. Only the owner of the website, the hosting company (currently jump.bg) and related persons or companies, in their capacity as representatives of a hosting service, have access to the data.

 

We additionally protect user data by using, where possible and appropriate, 256-bit encryption via an SSL certificate, which encrypts the connection between the user and our website.

 

Changes to the privacy policy

This privacy policy may be amended unilaterally, upon which we will notify all users in an appropriate manner.

You agree that any additions and changes to this privacy policy will be effective in regards to you after the above notification, unless you contact us to declare within 7 days that you reject the changes and discontinue using the website.
